  • We believe that the Bible is the revealed Word of God, written under the direction of the Holy Spirit. We believe it is without error and is true and trustworthy in all that it asserts. It has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

  • We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of each person, that He hears and answers prayer, and is faithful to His people and His promises.

  • We believe in Jesus Christ, existing eternally as God’s Son. We believe He led a sinless life, performed miracles and taught with authority. Through His resurrection He sacrificed Himself for our sin and will one day return to establish His Kingdom on earth.

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit lives within every believer in Christ. He convicts people of their sin and is an abiding helper, teacher and guide.

  • Humankind is made in the image of God and was created to have relationship with God but became separated through sinful disobedience. Salvation is the only way to right our relationship with God.

  • What Jesus accomplished on the cross, by taking our sin on Himself and defeating death, provides the only way of salvation through the forgiveness of sin. Salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. Salvation is a gift from God, and it cannot be earned through our own efforts.

  • We believe that members of the body of Christ are set apart and declared faultless as to their standing before God forever by the one offering of Christ on the cross and are one with Him.

As to their spiritual state they are being sanctified (set apart/being made Holy) with the constant washing by the Word; by the blood of Christ, and by the inner working presence and power of the Holy Spirit. The believer can experience victory over the power of sin and enablement to live a life of holiness, resulting in the fruit of the Spirit.

  • The Church is a local community of believers unified through faith in Christ. It is committed to the teachings of Christ and obeying all of His commands, and it seeks to bring the Good News to the world. The Church works together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of living in the way of Jesus.

  • We believe that there are only two ordinances for the church to regularly observe - Baptism and Holy Communion.

    1. Baptism is the immersion of believers in water as a symbol of faith and identification with Christ in His death burial and resurrection. Baptism is for believers who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

    2. Holy Communion, or The Lord’s Supper, is the memorial feast whereby believers partake of the elements of bread and wine, which symbolize the Lord’s body given and His blood shed, proclaiming His death until He come. Only those baptized in faith may partake in this tradition.

  • We believe in the imminent return of Jesus, who will come to judge all people. He will gather His followers to Himself, rewarding them for their faithful service and granting them eternal life, while those who have not accepted Him will face eternal punishment in hell. As part of His return, Jesus will restore all of creation, defeating sin, Satan, and death forever.
