What To Expect

Pilgrim Baptist Church is affiliated with the Baptist Union of Western Canada. To learn about what we believe, click here.

  • Our worship service is at 11:00am every Sunday. Feel free to arrive a few minutes early to connect and settle in!

  • We are located in the Point Douglas area. You can find directions here.

  • There is are small parking lots on the north and east sides of the building. There is additional parking on the surrounding streets.

  • Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! Whether that be your favourite sweater or your Sunday Best. God doesn’t judge you by the clothes you wear and neither should we.

  • Unfortunately, we are not offering any Children & Youth services at this time. We do hope to have this programming running again when the children & youth ministries grow. We do encourage you to bring your family with you! Pilgrim does have a nursery for parents to access with their children under 5.

  • During our worship service we sing, pray and study scripture. Service lasts about 90 mins

    Every 1st Sunday we receive Holy Communion and every 4th Sunday people have the opportunity to make a testimony, following this service we have a potluck style Fellowship Luncheon.

Worship at Pilgrim is:

God Centered
Worship is about God, rather than merely our personal experience. God is the primary focus and recipient of our worship. We come together to learn about God's nature and the works He has accomplished for us through His Son, Jesus.

Scriptural
Since the Bible is God's word to us, we believe it should be central to our liturgy, prayers, preaching, and song selection.

Engaging
We believe God's timeless message is relevant and life-changing. We aim to present this message in a way that speaks to today's culture. By creating an atmosphere of reverence and community, we help worshippers connect with God and each other, enhancing their spiritual growth.

Formative
We believe that every aspect of gathered worship serves as a means of grace, shaping us spiritually. Each element, from singing and scripture reading to prayer and preaching, plays a crucial role in forming us as followers of Jesus.
